What's the process of devising a comic piece? How does a comedian come up with their content?

I really enjoyed last week's episode and found the content very interesting. I hadn't realised how different the regulations on food in America were. I was too slow to add a comment though.

Do, a belated thank you. I've learned so much through your content and enjoy being able to listen to such clever, kind, and intellectual conversations. Thank you

Andrew, I love your theory on running. I like to run a couple times a week. I used to run everyday but developed deteriorative arthritis and dr. told me to stop. I did stop for a few years and put on weight even though I was speedwalking the same distance and weight training. So I decided to figure out how I could start again. I started strength training my knees and have been able to drop weight with adding workouts like swimming and stairs. I found some shoes that will work until I get back down to my running weight. they are called Gravity Defyer. They work, and my knees aren't popping after I run. I ice them too. Also with listening to music vs pod vs book, I do that. I have to tell you I found a song that I put on repeat for running harder - Chamshen by Sickflip. It is good. Regarding pot and creativity, I think compatibility with thc depends on physiology. I can't handle it, I used to smoke when I was a teenager, but now, I don't like it. I hate forgetting what I was thinking about every few seconds and feel like I have dementia. But it seems to work for Tom. He does come up with some funny content. Great discussion -Thanks!

Hey Dr Andrew. Would be honoured to have the following queries worked out…
1. Are headphones/earbuds alright for our ears in the long term? Lately people around have been claiming them to harm the ears…if so, then should we eliminate their use completely or what’s the limits of using them?
And are headphones better or earbuds if sth still gotta be used??

2. There’s a big notion regarding the benefits of listening to music/songs in general. So much so that some people take it for an essential part of their daily lives… is music really essential or can we go about living an entire life devoid of it and still making good…if it’s possible, will be a big time saver for me…
P.S: Don’t judge me for this time consciousness. An Indian student appearing for medical entrance test… Apart from study, can afford bare minimum stuff in routine…( meditation included)…

The Science talk with humor with Tom and Hubeman!
Note: I am a neuroscientist and Stress Biologist at Harvard and also create contents on how neuroscience knowledge can be applied in daily life, like using neuroscience insights to improve our well-being.

Next, Tim Dillon

Atp it's necessary. You know how hysterical it would be to hear Tim talking slowly and trying to articulate himself in the Huberman style? Would be a bit

Great pod guys. In April my son and I saw Tommy Bunz and Kirk Fox in Idaho perform the "sharpie set list" referenced. Fantastic night! What really stuck with me, he took a couple mins and showed appreciation for folks coming to see him well beyond a simple, thanks for coming

My Mom's friend was a professional laugher, and it was so much fun to experience her work an audience up to gafawing.

Andrew, you missed something Tom said that I think is pretty significant about "H.M." and the joke that may have not been even considered before. Tom had a perfectly good explanation for why HM didn't find the joke funny after multiple retellings that didn't at all involve H.M. and their condition: the person telling the joke influenced how it landed because they felt differently about it on every retelling.
