Hey Andrew, I found this interesting and thought I would share. So I was reading books for the longest time and noticed my eyes kept blurring on words, I would read the next line and previous line while also reading the current line I was reading. So it turned out I was actually diagnosed with this while I was younger a disorder called ‘irlen syndrome’ or ‘scotopic sensitivity syndrome’. “It’s not a problem with the eyes themselves, but with how the brain processes what the eyes see. People with Irlen Syndrome may be overly sensitive to certain wavelengths of light, which can cause visual distortions, eye strain, and difficulty with reading and concentration.” I use a tinted yellow page now that I place on top of the page I’m reading and it improves my reading and ability to focus on the information my eyes are seeing tenfold. Worth checking out if you’ve had this issue.
