Myopia has become an epidemic. I wish I could correct mine without surgery but it doesn't seem to work. Parents please help preserve your kids' vision by limiting time indoors!

I spent my entire life having 2015 vision and then about one month before I turned 50 last year, my close vision went completely downhill. I now have to wear glasses pretty much at all waking hours if I want to be able to read anything or feel like my eyes are comfortable. I know aging causes a lot of eye changes, but I’m wondering if there are any exercises I can do to improve that reading vision?

No mention of:
Multifocal soft contact lenses
Orthokeratology - hard contact lenses
Atropine
Myopia reducing spectacles e.g. stellest (Essilor)

Disappointing that no references were made to studies which demonstrate reduction in myopia progression in kids.
Look up Kate Gifford a myopia control educator.
