He says: 1. meat (not too much). 2. salmon, cod. shellfish 3. beans, especially lentils 4. tree nuts and seeds 5. tofu, edamame, natto, soy milk 6. quinoa.  Plant protein better for longevity.

I absolutely love the content of your videos.  I am extremely active, not over weight, good blood pressure.  It seems to drive my primary physician nuts that I don't "exercise".  When I explain that I cut the lawn, garden, walk the dog etc, she still seems to want to hear that I go to a gym.  I love that you put value on staying active.

Longevity: - (1) Your Parents: Good Genes (sux, you do not control, cards you are dealt with  - (2) Don't overcomplicate food. All in moderation, balance. However, cut down carb intake, Low Carb and Eat Less, portion size.  - (3) Exercise more, move! Just Do It. - (4) Relax. reduce stress, learn to let go, put things into perspective (not money, not power, but contentment, inner happiness), Sleep enough. - (5) Enjoy Life, Do Fun Stuff.

thank you, Doc.
especially for the plant protein info.
What about wild plants too? Many with top quality nutrients.
I'll NEVER be happy eating animals, most of em capable of friendship, same as dogs and cats. All you taught me, was not difficult, very clearly explained. Thanks again. Id like to encourage healthy eating for everyone.

Thank you, Dr. Li for another wonderful video. I used to love food but not anymore. In fact, i get stressed out when it comes to food. I have mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) in the gut and this causes me to be sensitive to any kind of meat and seafood. For that reason, i changed my diet to whole food plant based but I found out I'm also sensitive to any sea vegetables legumes, tofu, seeds and nuts. These are the main sources of my protein and I can't consume them freely. I can only consume very small amount otherwise I get too itchy and inflammation buildup. I no longer have joy in food. The worst part is I'm always hungry because I don't feel satiated.
Dr. Li, please do a video on MCAS.
