Reading from a Ford Motor Company assembly line

We’ve all heard the typical “what was life like for a Roman” history but in reality, THIS is what most of our lives would have been like during these times.

Tbf, and hopefully you're a Detroiter like me, in the Roman age especially during it's height the average Roman Citizen lived a different lifestyle than a medevial peasant.

Greetings from Cologne, germany. Half of my Family worked there (Ford). I'm thankful they gave my grandparents work. Both of them.. Work for women in a big company was not a thing every woman are allowed to do. They could afford a house and got a good pension. Grandma had 2 jobs. Grandpa had longer working time per day at Ford company. Grandma also cared for some rich people a few times per week (household, cleaning, garden...everything... and they paid for my grandparents' wedding and as they did she got expensive furniture from them. They took her on vacation with them one time to the U.S, it was a once in a lifetime thing. so expensive, but she had not to pay).

Lords didn't let peasants freeze to death.
Their peasants were their farmers and their standing army.

I would love content on what life was like on a WW2 submarine. With a main focus on food, crew life, how they slept, etc. I would love that. Thank you for asking for suggestions.

FALSE ADVERTISING! These stories are fascinating, and the reader's voice, although calm and soothing, is lovely. NOT boring or monotone. Highly recommend (just not for falling asleep!)

Just found this channel. Reading from Pennsylvania in the United States. I have to say I don't find this boring at all, but your voice is very pleasant, and I will not mind falling asleep with this content playing. I'll just have to catch up on what I miss when I wake up.
Good night, all!

Reading from Kochi situated in the Southern state of Kerala, India. A tropical city in the peak of its summer. Huddled in my air conditioned room learning about mediaeval European winters.

Good afternoon from a sunny The Hague, the Netherlands. Lying sick on the sofa, ready to take a nap and reading. Wanted to fall asleep, now I can't. But I'm reading with my eyes shut and start to recover from being sick Thanks!

Loved to listen to your story! I wasn’t able to fall back to sleep but at least I wasn’t ruminating or overthinking and I was enjoying my cozy bed while being grateful I’m not a peasant in the Middle Ages. Thank you!
