Studies have shown that they were very good at keeping warm in winter. Tests show that having cattle in the room rose the temperature quite a bit. Also they dug their homes into the ground which helped with insulation. Used rocks for bed heaters. The village would also have communal fires which would be kept alight all the time with families on a rota system keeping them alight continuously.

A two hour content of being told how cold they were all the time, they did actually do a lot to keep warm.

@@annakau1Wearing animal skins outdoors and having an open fire in the middle of the room while sleeping under animal skins kept them very warm. Even living in an igloo was incredibly comfortable.

Right… humans are intelligent and always have been. We find ways to work more efficient. They weren’t all of a sudden some stupid monkeys that could hardly stay warm and build a decent home.

Exactly! That’s how we survived, now they’d panic coz they expect other people to do everything for them.
The amount of people that can’t even make basic food or fix things is so weird when I talk about general stuff.
They have an attitude of “someone else will do that for me”

The living God, to whom you will one day have to give an account for everything you have ever said and done, no matter how much you kick and scream against it now, and try to pretend to yourself that it isn't true. His name is Yahve, "I Am". When He was incarnated as a human, He was given the ordained name Yeshua, Jesus; it means "Yahve is salvation". That is the only name in which we humans are saved.

Take as much pain relief as they will give you. ❤ I'm 62, smashed when a car hit me whilst walking. My right hip, etc replaced. Don't listen to people who say 'go easy on pain relief, it's addictive'. Rubbish! You need to be pain free to rest properly and recover. It's a huge surgery, and for some of us really hard. I'm sending you love and supportive thoughts from New Zealand ❤

Misread as "having 4 grandchildren IN the next 48 hours" and for a second I lived in an incredible world where you had 4 kids who were all about to give birth within two days, or maybe two kids with each a set of twins, or maybe just one kid with quadruplets. An effervescent vision either way.

Got on Kratom as a Dad without a lot help. Daughter was a horrid sleeper and i went days without much sleep. The Kratom gave me energy. Didint know it was so addicting and getting off it would be so bad. Was taking such high doses i got prescribed suboxone to get off that.
Now I have been fighting the withdrawals from that putrid shit for 27 days and have got under 40 hours of sleep the whole time snd its been hell.
Absolutely DOG tired and just can't fall asleep. Living hell. Here I sit awake begging for sleep reading about people who had it much worse.
Thanks for the content !

Kratom is so wonderful I fell under its spell as well. A slow taper was the only way (for me). Supplement w magnesium gly and ashgwanda. Get a muscle relaxer from a doctor. You will get thru it. Half a benedryl helped me a lot despite others saying the opposite. Best of luck. Subs are not worth it.

@@strikerj4810excuse me, but they said they were prescribed suboxone so I assume it was by a medical professional and they were taking what they assumed to be best practice. I’m an addiction professional and I hadn’t heard of suboxone being used to treat Kratom withdrawal but a quick search turned up some evidence based research (albeit not much), so maybe his doctor was giving it a shot? It’s not unheard of. Your horrible attitude is why people are afraid to get help and speak about their addictions.
To the OP, I’m super proud of you for getting off of kratom and then suboxone! That is not an easy feat. Please stay strong. I promise sleep will come again. If you can get your doctor to prescribe a small amount of klonopin, that would help a lot (or even if you could utilize one of those online therapy services like cerebral—I used that one before I had insurance)…or ask your doctor for something to help you sleep that’s non addictive. ❤

They were incredibly strong to keep going back then.
