probably because I'm Italian and I don't eat kellogs' crap directly from the box. About the oats I just buy the organic whole one from whatever supermarket, 80-85 cent for 1kg, no cooking required but I let it soak with the seeds for some minute while I cut the fresh fruit and I grind the flax seeds, so the chocolate can melt, the chia seeds do their thing and so on. Everyone could follow a different recipe and using the products he can find, I think the point is eating this instead of refined sugars and unhealthy fats. I suffered IBS for years, I mean with blood too, and cutting out gluten, sugar etc improved my health, weight, skin. Slightly changing ingredients and proportions never get me bored of this end of the meal bowl. it's satiating and every time I still feel hungry it's ready quickly. In summer you can add yoghurt, or coconut bits, what you want as long as there are no sugars to avoid cravings 20 minutes later
