Does anyone know how fatty liver disease can be reversed through extending the natural intervals of intermittent fasting?

Extend your natural intermittent fasting window

Burn fat to unload the liver from excess fat

Eat beans and legumes (as they help burn fat, lower inflammation, and reduce overeating)

Soak beans overnight to reduce phytates and improve digestion

Exercise (or stay active) to burn calories and help with fat loss.

I have no idea how you have changed and save my life. I went from a size 22 six listening to you 118 pounds. God bless you for all you are.❤❤❤ more than appreciated! One of the natural born educators of our time!

Are dried beans better than canned and if using canned do they need to be soaked over night or just rinsed well? Waiting on CT results, probable recurrence of Granulosa cell Tumor after initial finding and surgery(TAH-BSO)! Reading all your content for immediate help. Thank you

Use dried beans [uncooked, then cook] before canned. Canned beans are cooked. Some cans have a BPA inner liner which you don't want. Look for "non-BPA".

Dr. Li which can you please make content about oral health and teeth. Also trying to keep it as healthy as you can. I'm curious to know what type of chewable tablet you take for Lactobacillus Reuteri

I completely reduced my liver enzymes to normal with intermittent fasting.
ago by (100 points)
How long did it take you? Thanks for replying.

I am thinking about 6- 8 months. I had started in August and saw my GP in April. But I aimed for at least 18 hours fasting everyday to get to autophagy. I still continue to do intermittent fasting. I eat proteins and I feel much better by keeping the carbs to fruits and vegetable and very little complex carbs. I don't care for sugar anyways so that is easy for me. I have a " made with turmeric, ginger, & cinnamon (and a little honey if you like it) every night. You can also add those to a green or a black tea. I don't know if it does anything but I like it. I do drink a lot of coffee and tea (earl grey)

How long was your fasting? Asking original post

Do you drink coffee with cream in the morning?

Dr. Li, your content is more important than the background music❤️
ago by (100 points)
Turn off the distracting background music/NOISE
ago by (100 points)
I agree, I really dislike the background music. I just want to listen to the speaker. It's refreshing....
ago by (100 points)
I have hearing problems and with that background music so loud, I hardly hear him. I am 53 with slight hearing problems, so I think people over 35 will have similar experiences.

I just lost 17 pounds in the last 3 months. I am still not really into intermittent fasting, because most times I need my breakfast, but I am down from 5 or 6 meals to three, so I guess, I am on the right path...  :-)  (I have cut out over 70 - 80 % of sugar and carbs, so my overall calorie intake is much lower now...) To everyone, who is wondering how I did this: it was VERY hard, but I had to have faith, that this would work (again), because I am/was some kind of a sugar addict. But my doctor gave me some kind of a "shock diagnosis", so I had to change everything fast...

P.S.: I am still losing more weight: 66 pounds still have to go, to be fit again...  ;-)
ago by (100 points)
Good job! Keep at it!

Are you talking about just plain green tea or would green tea with turmeric be just as good or better?

My son has Down syndrome and has had fatty liver disease for years. Doctors just said that maybe that's just his normal. He doesn't drink alcohol or take any medication. He's also very lean and strong. Did some research and did a gluten free diet for one year paired with a liver supplement His enzymes went from 208 to 38.
ago by (100 points)
And he also didn’t eat from the evening to the morning. Maybe that was the real trick

I have lymphedema and struggle to lose weight and menopause is not helping. I have cut out pasta and bread. And would like to know is oatmeal ok in the mornings? I also grind the oats into flour and make bread from it with buttermilk. Is that bad for weight loss? I only have one slice a day. I have stopped having sugar in my coffee but still have milk. Would coconut milk be a better alternative? Thank you Dr Li for these informative contents.

Super insightful. I tried detoxes and liver tonics for years with zero results. My body felt sluggish, heavy, and confused. The Meno Reset Protocol (written by Olivia Wells) helped me lose 30 lbs by healing my gut and clearing my liver gently — without restrictions or gimmicks.
ago by (100 points)
30 lbs? Wow, thats impressive. How long did it take you?
ago by (100 points)
interesting experience. Ive tried similar things but didnt get those results
ago by (100 points)
sounds like I need to learn more about liver health and gut health
ago by (100 points)
I've been looking for something without gimmicks. The meno reset protocol sounds promising.
ago by (100 points)
should i be concerned about liver detox, or is a balanced diet enough?
ago by (100 points)
Im happy for your success. Detox can be tricky, but it seems like you found what works for you.
ago by (100 points)
i had no idea that healing the gut could have such a huge impact on weight loss
ago by (100 points)
wonder if this works for someone whos younger or is it more for a specific age group
ago by (100 points)
Inspiring story! It’s always great to hear real success stories from real people.
ago by (100 points)
Thats great to hear that the Meno Reset Protocol worked for you! Do you recommend it for everyone?

I drink Dandy Blend  2 main ingredients are Dandelion Root and Chicory Root
ago by (100 points)
Instead of expensive supplements try to get your nutrients through food. Your body absorbs them better than supplements and they are much cheaper and they taste good. You can buy dandelion in most grocery stores. I'm not sure about chicory root but there are other foods that contain inulin. This is just my personal opinion. I used to spend a lot of money on supplements but now get the nutrients from whole foods and my body seems to absorb them much better than supplements and I feel amazing. I'm not a doctor, nutritionist or an expert. I guess you need to discover what works for you.
ago by (100 points)
Dandy is a drink! My husband substitute it for coffee. He overconsumed coffee until I am pleased by this switch. Also does tea occasionally.

Fascinating and a question for you: would you change this approach for a female with 5 decades under her belt and has endocrinology disease?
