Genetic selection in what like based on the chemicals we're each releasing? Or genetic selection based on physical attraction? Also if we're attracted to others based on odors/ chemicals we're releasing how do things like foods, birth control, and perfume not affect these things?

Im a little disappointed with this episode. I'm usually so engrossed with the discussion because they do hone in on the topic but this one has so many non-focused topics that i keep skipping finding the meat of the discussion which is absolutely interesting. Im so happy about the Badjao (how we spell it in the Philippines) tribe highlighted as i have worked with them and i find them absolutely fascinating as well.

Wish there was more talk of actionable behaviors to make beneficial changes... lot of interesting stuff but the title is misleading.

I was sick for years and I didn’t realize how misled I was until I read “Secrets of True Healing”. It’s never too late to wake up. It’s crazy how nobody is talking about it.

It's not "ba-joe", it's "badjao". These sea nomads live in SE Asia, especially all over the Philippines and Indonesia. There are also the "aytas" in Luzon who have denisovan ancestry.

The "aquatic ape" hypothesis actually gets pretty interesting... we're the only land mammal with blubber, we have gills for a period of fetal development, etc

Man, let her speak, what's the point of inviting the guest if you are the center of attention and you control the direction of conversation. Just let other people talk my man

Nurture is Nature so that is why it is hard to parse. We love silos but we all exist in a biosoup that both creates, grows, and dissolves us over and over and over.
