Imperial College London and Johns Hopkins University, top tier universities as you'll know, have an outstanding safety record in psychedelic therapy research because they screen participants properly. Please summarise accurately on who is at risk, to what degree, and in what context.
Psychedelic therapy is often successfully utilised in relation to addiction, and is not significantly associated with causing addiction. The notion that using psychedelics "too much" causes psychological harm is vague, and I'm sure you can see why the topic is too important for such casual assessments. What constitutes too much, and for who? What percentage of study participants experience harm, and why?
Of course, health protocols and psychedelic integration are essential for optimising wellbeing and the utility of psychedelic experiences, but the psychedelic experience offers the chance for an individual to understand their challenges firsthand, rather than via the external, framework-based interpretation of another person.
