Is there anyone who knows what the initial intention was for creating Mount Rushmore?

In Minnesota, little worried about how gruesome this one's gonna be for sleep but it'll definitely be interesting! Good night everyone!

Good night. I’ll be dreaming I’m a medieval child with a broken tooth… and the town dentist is a monk who prays first, then pulls teeth out with his bare hands....

ever since i was a kid i was paranoid to go to a dentist because i had a bad dentist as a kid who would drill into my teeth with out anesthesia. i guess i feel with medieval people in that kind of sense when talking about pain

Late at night in the US. Reading while soothing a sore throat with some hard candies (all I had on hand at home) and wondering when my teeth are gonna be yanked for this.

I avoided the dentist for a decade because once as a kid I had a cavity filled without anesthetic. Dentistry is very painful.
