real
by (100 points)
mine too.. I'm so fn excited
by (100 points)
I literally bought a steamdeck just so I could play grounded! Fully beat the game and I could tell there was so much the devs wanted to do but couldn't, like the porch or house. I'm so happy some of the features I was hoping for are announced for the sequel! Butterflies and mounts!!!!!
by (100 points)
@@REDisKINGliterally! and some really simple but cool critters like caterpillars and cockroaches. Id expect us to be able to fly the butterflies as we’ll eventually
by (100 points)
No, the super bowl is the big mixing bowl halfway through the park.
by (100 points)
Factsssssssss I like that answer
by (100 points)
dude, I've been playing the first since preview, so I am bouncing off the freaking wall!!!
by (100 points)
@k3nz0m7can't wait to see the new black ox beatle maybe we ride the roch's to in a later update that would be dope.

I’ve been saying for a while that grounded is such an amazing survival game, and I wanted it to get an update but this is an upgrade
by (100 points)
The only complaint I have is I wish it was in like an Australian backyard/park, that way they’d have a wider range of truly terrifying bugs that they could introduce!
by (100 points)
future grounded surely. Set in the tropical North Queensland region of Australia
by (100 points)
it would even be cool if they added earth worms, centipedes, other kinds of beetles, dragonflys like there was a lot of regular backyard bugs they missed
by (100 points)
! That’s what I missed the most on the first game! I think that the size of the backyard and areas where already quite good, but there’s so many common bugs that we can’t find in the game but see all around irl
by (100 points)
Slugs and snails would be cool too. Imagine what you could do with the shells!
by (100 points)
there was a snail shell in the lower yard underneath one of the machines lazers. It was teased, but never introduced sadly.
by (100 points)
yeah I think we’ll see updates and such which will bring in new bugs hopefully!!
by (100 points)
I was personally thinking imagine like a lizard type boss fight, something huge, fast, and not bug-like, it'd be like fighting a dinosaur and I'd love to see something like that.
by (100 points)
was going to say that n i thought it was kinda irrational they’d be huge
by (100 points)
Yeah surprisingly we havent seen any non insect critters except for that raven

by (100 points)
That actually exists but its called honey i shrunk the adults
by (100 points)
I think that's technically part 3 because Honey I blew up the kid is part 2

Ark may be dying, but grounded is thriving. Let's go.
by (100 points)
I hate how true this is
by (100 points)
If Snail didn't have a death grip on it and could be man enough to admit they suck it wouldn't have to die.
by (100 points)
The truth hurts.
by (100 points)
How is it dying?

I was sad at first that Grounded wasn’t going to get anymore content but happy that we’re getting the sequel.

So glad I randomly tried Grounded when my friend and I were looking for a co-op game to play. Gamepass for the win, can't wait to try this one
by (100 points)
This is exactly how I found it. Since I had never heard about it, I had low expectation. We are just about the complete the game in its entirety and it's now one of my top 5 games ever. Wonder else what's out there that I haven't discovered...

715 hours in Grounded and I thank your team for everything, Grounded was such a fun immersive game and I've been itching for a 2nd game. I am beyond excited to dive into the new world!! I sucked my brother into the first game way late after I finished it but still had a blast playing with someone else and he's already said he'll dive into this one with me. I cannot wait!

Please for zip lines, make the variant of a cabble cars, that way every body can travel together... maybe powered via some bug?
by (100 points)
Agreed, that's a great idea
by (100 points)
Have two worker ants running in wheels either side.
by (100 points)
Maybe spiders could climb across zip lines
by (100 points)
Idk if it’d be broken but imagine a FLYING MOUNT OMG
by (100 points)
If there's fly stamina that could balance it. Fly for a short duration. Takes a little while for the buggy to recover. Running out of stamina causes you and your buggy to drop out of the sky. Maybe make greater stamina drain for upward flight and/or based on your armor. There's ways to do it.
by (100 points)
use spiders as elevators. They go up and down with webbing and you hold onto the legs
by (100 points)
We need this for our buggies
by (100 points)
I can't wait to see what they do as the game is probably pushed out and updated/released

grounded is THE best survival game in my opinion and they just told us that the problems of the first game (not that big of problems) are being improved AND they are adding things whilst keeping it close to the first game, i love you guys and this was the highlight of the year for me.

I CAN'T WAIT.

Man I was always saying I'd LOVE for dlc or new maps in Grounded. But to get an entirely new game... I will absolutely take that. 100% win!
by (100 points)
For sure, it's pretty much a bunch of DLCs packed into one if you think about it. With even more to come in the future.

i’m really hoping with the world being 3x size of the original it will still be as jam packed with stuff and things to do
by (100 points)
i was hoping they'd add a indoor house to explore, seems just more backyard again =/ but still hoping they add it perhaps in the future
by (100 points)
storage shed is still very possible
by (100 points)
, they can add like a BATHROOM?

Would be awesome omg
by (100 points)
feel like people dont understand how boring a building would be. You’d be in a massive empty area and it would take you minutes to get to anything. And what insects are you going to find inside a building that people are actively going in and out of?
by (100 points)
Cockroaches
Mad ants (like, candy in floor can attract them)
Silverfish
Toxic Spiders
Psychodidae (bathroom fly) and Larvae
Mold bug
bathroom centipede
Worms
Woodboring Beetle
Hornets…

Yeah, it could be possible. Just add a Chemical bathroom or two
by (100 points)
That house has to be absolutely disgusting to find all of those regularly for the game. No normal house is infested with silverfish, roaches, and bathroom centipedes. People were begging to go into the house that clearly had a family actively living in it.
by (100 points)
Nah. I’m Not into indoor house vibe, but chemical toilets are SO disgusting, everyone uses it, have trash bugs, and have direct way to the sewage. As a DEV, i can say and repeat: would be Amazing!
by (100 points)
Hopefully the one quality of life change we get is being able to build under ground
by (100 points)
too
