Who can explain why sequels are incredibly essential in video games as well as most remarkable?

Looks fantastic, but charging $80 for a game who's entire story and lore is lampooning capitalism. Well, the irony isnt lost on me.

The first game was alright, enjoyable for a little bit but obviously had a really small budget. If Obsidian isn't bullshitting us about the extra depth and rpg stuff put into this, I'm excited.

The reason why it’s $80 is because XBOX wants you to pay forever for their Game Pass Subscription which will become more attractive as games kept being sold at such a price!

Actually gamepass is not profitable for MS. They just want to lure players in for the ecosystem but it has been out for a few years now and Sony is still going pretty strong. All games sell much more on PS5 because MS game pass eat their sales on PC and Xbox.

Guys, this game never criticised capitalism. They took a piss at it but that's it. It's made by a company owned by a big corpo that has a near monopoly in basic software and that uses money to influence politics. It literally cannot criticise capitalism or corpocracy - that's the joke. So stop with your 'you can't criticise capitalism and charge $80'. You are literally the main character in the game, completely oblivious to their world lmao

It's funny how PS5 games were $70. Then Elden Ring came out a few years later and charged $60 when they could've easily charged $70. I didn't hear anyone complaining about games still being $70. But now everyone is losing their mind over $80. If y'all broke just say so.

Just like when they went from $50 to $60 from PS2 to PS3? They were going too go to $70 for PS4 but everyone complained. So they waited until the PS5 for $70. $80 is here making up for the PS4. $90 will be PS6. $100 will be PS7. It's how life goes. More expensive technology, more expensive games.

You don’t know how good you have it today. Games cost tens of millions to develop now, not to mention game prices have not kept pace with inflation. Entitlement, I swear…

with your wallet. The price will drop if people don't pay. Otherwise, however unfortunate it may be, it'll take time for the prices to drop. Just get it on game pass or when it goes on sale.
