When doing stand-up, to what extent does the audience’s reaction impact the success of the jokes or bits?

Could you please tell Tom that he has gone too far with his money+success thing and sounds very entitled?..
by (100 points)
Can you please bring on a professional next time not just your cousin… like rod martin or Phillip Johnson laird.
by (100 points)
I just realized Andrew and Tom sound very much alike when they talk.
by (100 points)
Woah, it's like if you had trisomy.

An episode about how "the poors" suck and a masterclass on how to be the boringest man in the world.
by (100 points)
Aw, that's cute you don't understand comedy or jokes. Maybe one day you'll grow up

Thank you bringing zero-cost consumer information, because I couldn’t afford this otherwise, because I’m poor.

Imagine getting the chance to talk to someone this funny, successful and articulate.
Tom must feel very lucky.
by (100 points)
god damn lmao
by (100 points)
Tom is the blandest dullest human alive. Tom makes Joe Rogan seem like Richard Pryor.

Even better
by (100 points)
They're literally family
by (100 points)
This is how I learn they're actually cousins
by (100 points)
Sure, Tom's here to promote Brents special instead of his own new series

The love between these guys at the end of the content is meltingly sweet. I wish all men knew they could share these feelings.

Is it just me, or has the millionaires interviewing millionaires podcast concept run its course in the last five years?
by (100 points)
Is Huberman a Millionaire?
by (100 points)
Without a doubt. I would be surprised if his sponsorships and income from Stanford haven't put him over $500k/year.

One of the most successful comedians in the world
by (100 points)
Oh I know, I just don't see how or why
by (100 points)
Humor is intensely personal. I've heard that same repeated line from the OP over the years for any comedian that someone doesn't like. "I don't find them funny, therefore they aren't a comedian." Rubbish.

I also think you can learn to find certain comedians funny by repeated exposure. This happened to me with Maria Bamford. I totally didn't get her in the beginning. Then she grew to be one of my favorite comedians.

No I think by profession Tom is a comedian, that's like, his job. I just don't think he's funny. Like, at all.
by (100 points)
Seriously I've read all his content and kept thinking 'how did he get another special'
by (100 points)
It's not a job nor is it a profession.

This feels like the end of the huberman lab. Was a nice run though.

I sense he wonders what to "wear", such as a server who needs a new outfit each shift, an idea-outfit, trending, to up and coming and pertinence of societal value; and he possibly hovers above potential new ideas to share in haste, but he is definitely not finished.
by (100 points)
Apparently they're cousins... Just skip this one it ain't that serious.

Did you feel the same way when Tony Hawk was on here?

Came here for this.
I'm also too poor to read this. It would cost me my whole life savings just for a few minutes to hear Tom's witty genius.
