Dear Dr. Li - you are so wonderful....
I really enjoy your videos and all the great practical tips that you share.
I'm on a longevity journey myself - trying to remain healthy and enjoy life.
Oral health is also a part of the body that contributes to this longevity equation.

I live in the Netherlands and I want to share something very strange with both of you. I am diagnosed with essential tremor. I have IBS and my dietician advised me to start with probiotica because the FODMAP dieet had to little result. For the first time in years i am able to type this message, my trembling is not severe anymore❤

In addition to diseases like diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease, we need to avoid getting taken out by infectious diseases, such as influenza, COVID-19 and pneumonia. And as people get older and their immune systems weaken, it becomes more of a challenge to avoid succumbing to those infectious diseases. So how do we strengthen our immune systems, as we get older? Well surprisingly, one way to prevent your immune system from weakening as you get older is to avoid calorie-restriction (CR). Calorie-restriction has long been touted as the #1 key to living longer and slowing the aging process, based upon studies done using lab animals. But the researchers don't tell you is that calorie-restriction has been found to weaken the immune systems of those lab animals, which are raised in sterile environments. So if calorie-restriction also weakens the immune systems of humans, theoretically it would increase a person's risk of dying from an infectious disease.

I absolutely  can't  stomach green tea but i drink black tea a lot. (jusr plain, no sweetener). Whar do you think about that? Im 77, vegan for 10 years, exercise daily....

I green tea all day every day. But have loved my black tea since I was a little kid. You gotta change it up for a little bit of happiness.

Common denominator I have witnessed amongst family members who are centenarians. Don't eat processed food, walk a lot and do things for yourself as much as possible for as long as possible.

I green tea all day every day, and I Y twice a week, which wears me out at 77. But I can feel my old self getting stronger after gaining two titanium hips and "enjoying" a daily dose of oak pollen which is currently trying to kill me ...
