Greetings from lower Alabama! Thanks for taking us on trips to the disturbingly dystopian, not so distant past. I have a newfound appreciation for my cozy life and modern healthcare!

Loving this channel so much! Thank you for aiding my sleep for the last few nights. It's morning in Australia, reading during the drive for the school run.

Long Island, New York after falling asleep to another story about medieval times in cold climates. Your voice is soothing and the stories fascinating.

It's good to see your content growing! I subbed to ease into sleep. Initially in those few minutes before I drifted off I thought "Wow, this is an insightful, funny, knowledgeable, writer. An actual writer!" So, I started reading while awake too. I have only one suggestion which is to ditch the background sound. Some may disagree, but I actually wake up when the lone fire crackles (particularly when the sounds continue after the story ends)  Personally, I just like to be lulled by a soothing narrator without distraction. Nothing else needs to be added to carry the vibe. At any rate, great content - thank you!

Picked the wrong program to fall asleep to. Rather than calming down I am enraged a few minutes in.

Reading from Connecticut. Soaking my Sumatran Python who is having a difficult shed due to illness. Check on her during a break and after 24 hours her soak is working. I love history and this content is wonderful. Dawn now and today may be a good one. Thank you.

I enjoy listening to your voice while I do my batch work. Boring mindless work. Your content doesn't make me sleepy at all, they keep me focused.

When I was a little girl in the 70s my mom knew something wasn't quite normal about me. I was tested and they found I had a "genius IQ" so they put me in a special class with 7 other genius kids.  I did well in that class but outside it was a nightmare. I had so much trouble understanding kid politics. My mom took me to a psychiatrist who diagnosed with me with "Nervous girl syndrome" marked by being "high strung and quiet with a high IQ".  I had such bad sensory issues I couldn't tolerate the noise of school especially when the program ended when I was 13.  I would skip school. I was seen as a behavior problem. Eventually I dropped out.

When I was in my 30s I had a son who was diagnosed with autism at age four.  I realized after a few years how I had the same struggles as he had.  Yep.  Diagnosed in my 40s. Nobody who knew me was surprised.
