"...they can be addictive." No, this is not true they are actually anti-addictive. In fact there are many studies that show psychedelics are among the least addictive substances known. No withdrawal, no compulsive use-cycle, no dopamine hijacking, and they actually produce tolerance fast so frequent use ends up being self-limiting. Also, saying that psychedelics "alter reality" is a bit misleading too, it reduces the function of the default mode network (DMN), and while this treads into philosophy, one must question what is meant by "reality."

I have been taking a DHT Blocker in the form of topical drops to prevent hair loss and I think it’s contributing to major depression and SI - what are your thoughts on DHT Blockers?

Antidepressants, Benzodizapines, antipsychotics often cause disabling systems and can be extremely painful to get off.

With all the meds prescribed depression, anxiety, suicides are increasing in all age groups.

Labeling, medication are not get to root problem

Unhealed truama/grief, difficult life situations are not disorders.

I’m curious how to look at bipolar- there are so many classifications- all of them related to a “sensitivity” of sorts- whether improper methylation, Glutamate/GABA issues, inflammation, etc.  there is a whole
Spectrum /crossover between adhd schizophrenia and autism.  Personally, I seem to be AuDHD and some version of sensitive/ bipolar -mostly depressive-but hypomanic with the use of antidepressants.  The ground below me is never stable - and I think most
Antipsychotics have WAY too many side effects to bother with unless you are suicidal and there are NO other alternatives

How about Metabolic Psychiatry… using a ketogenic diet rather than medication - there’s studies to show this is very effective under supervision

A few months ago I hit rock bottom mentally. I was overwhelmed, broke, and just tired of pretending I had it all together. Someone mentioned Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley and I figured, why not? That book didn't just help me dream again, it showed me how to anchor those dreams in reality. Now, I’ve manifested opportunities I never imagined possible, and my mindset has shifted completely. If you’re frustrated like I was, don’t hesitate. Read this book. It will change everything ❤

People don’t seek treatment because they won’t receive treatment. They will receive medication whether needed or not.

consider that autism and neurodivergence may not need to be cured and pathologizing it implies something is wrong rather than just different.
